Location and How to Get Here

Ucluelet is a three hour drive from Nanaimo, on the East Coast of Vancouver Island. The drive offers breathtaking views of mountains, rivers and lakes, with a chance to take a break in Port Alberni.

To get to Nanaimo, you can take one of three ferry routes:
  1. Take the ferry from Horseshoe Bay, north of Vancouver, which brings you to downtown Nanaimo.
  2. Take the ferry from Tsawwassen, south of Vancouver, to Duke Point, which is ten minutes south of Nanaimo on Highway One.
  3. Take the ferry from Tsawwassen, south of Vancouver, to Victoria, and drive north to Nanaimo on Highway One. If you stay on the highway, by following signs for Parksville and Campbell River, you will bypass downtown Nanaimo.
Once past Nanaimo, drive north on Highway 19, till you see the exit for Qualicum Beach, Port Alberni, Ucluelet and Tofino. From there it is approximately two and a half hours to Ucluelet.

You can also fly to Qualicum Beach from Vancouver or Victoria, and drive from there.


    Once in Ucluelet, please follow Highway 4, Peninsula Road to Bay St.
    and we are situated on the corner at 1801 Bay St.   You've arrived!
